Sadly Li'l Smokey did not have Thermo-Gel to protect his home, but he is in good hands now.

IN GOOD HANDS: Adam Deem holds the cub he found in burned brush in Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Lil' Smokey's paws were badly burned and his left eye was singed.
